PATIENT SAFETY

At Alchemy Dental, patient safety is our priority. All of our staff undergo 12 monthly Basic Life Support training and we have all of the necessary emergency equipment and oxygen available at both of our sites.

We have a shock advisory defibrillator for the benefit of the local community and our building confirms to fire safety regulations.

DISABLED ACCESS

We have a ramp available on request, for the main entrance to enable access to ground floor surgeries.

MARKET LEADING PRODUCTS

The clinic only uses market leading products which are supported by extensive clinical research, data and evidence based results. This ensures patient satisfaction and safety.

We provide a full range of dental implant procedures. The majority of implants placed are from Nobel Biocare, who have more than 20 years of clinical evidence and documentation in this field. All restorative materials used are of the highest quality.

INFECTION CONTROL

Infection control is of greatest importance at Alchemy Dental. We have a dedicated infection control facility and operative. We comply with the latest cross infection control legislation. This is an ongoing process with regular reviews of current good practice.

THE DENTAL REGISTER

Every member of our clinical staff is registered with the General Dental Council, therefore adhering to their stringent terms and ethics of ‘practising dentistry’. Dentists, dental therapists, hygienists and nurses at Alchemy Dental continually develop and update their skills and knowledge by attending professional lectures, meetings and peer reviews on a yearly basis. This is a requirement to be able to stay listed on the Dental Register.

THE CARE QUALITY COMMISSION (CQC)

The practice is registered with the CQC and therefore underlies its exacting rules and regulations. Comprehensive inspections by the CQC will determine if the services at our clinic are safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led. The last inspection confirmed that Alchemy Dental was found to be in full compliance with all relevant regulations.

I came to see Hemali, I am a very nervous and anxious patient. Hemali was very understanding, caring and patient. Great service friendly staff (very important) don't honestly like going to the dentist but put me at ease .just to add the dentist I saw was a Mr Chee Chow Pang both he and his assistant were terrific and put me at ease from my irrational fear of visiting the dentist, highly recommend
